五、语言要求/Language Requirements

申请以中文为专业教学语言攻读学士、硕士及博士学位的申请人，须提供有效期内汉语水平考试（HSK）四级（含四级）以上证书，证书有效期为两年；

申请以英文为专业教学语言攻读硕士、博士学位的申请人，需提供英语水平证明托福（TOEFL）或雅思（IELTS）成绩。不能提供标准化英语测试证明的，若上一阶段学位学习使用英文教学的申请人，需提供相关证明。母语为英语的申请人，可以免除提供上述英语水平证明。

Applicants for bachelor's, master's, or doctoral programs taught in Chinese must provide a valid Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Level 4 (or above) certificate. The certificate is valid for two years.

Applicants for master's or doctoral programs taught in English must provide proof of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS scores). If unable to provide standardized English test scores, applicants whose previous degree was taught in English must provide relevant proof. Native English speakers are exempt from providing the above English proficiency proof.

六、申请材料/Application Documents

1. 申请人须在留学基金委“来华留学网上报名系统”中填写和提交申请基本信息，在提交信息后，请打印系统自动生成的中国政府奖学金申请表，并签字。

2. 经过公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生或已就业，需另外提交本人就读学校出具的预毕业证明或就业单位出具的在职证明。中英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译文。

3. 申请攻读硕士、博士学位者须提供学习成绩单。中英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译文。

4. 来华学习和研究计划（不少于 1000 字），用中文或英文书写，并由本人签名。注意：请认真撰写来华学习计划，学科专家审核环节将主要参考学习计划，择优录取。

5. 申请攻读硕士、博士学位者，须提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写，需推荐人签字。

6. 护照照片页复印件。

7. 《外国人体格检查记录》（复印件，原件自行保留）。此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，须用英文填写。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查记录》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效。鉴于检查结果有效期为 6 个月，请申请人据此确定本人进行体检的时间。

1. Applicants are required to fill in and submit basic application information via the CSC Online Application System for International Students in China. After submission, please print out the automatically generated Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form from the system and sign it.

2. Notarized highest education certificate. He / she shall submit the student certificate issued by his / her school or the on-the-job certificate issued by the employment unit. Texts other than Chinese and English shall be accompanied by notarized Chinese or English translations;

3. Applicants for master's or doctoral degree programs must provide academic transcripts. Documents in languages other than Chinese and English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation.

4. Study and Research Plan for Studying in China (no less than 1,000 words), which shall be written in Chinese or English and signed by the applicant in person.Note: Please carefully prepare the Study Plan for Studying in China. Subject experts will mainly refer to this plan during the review process, and admission will be granted based on merit.

5. Applicants for master's or doctoral degree programs must submit two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors. The letters shall be written in Chinese or English and signed by the recommenders.

6. Copy of passport.

7. The original and copy of the physical examination record of foreigners: this form is uniformly printed by the Chinese health and quarantine department and must be filled in English. The applicant shall carry out the examination in strict accordance with the items required in the foreigner physical examination record. The "foreigner physical examination record" is invalid if there are missing items, there is no photo of the person, or the photo is not stamped with a cross seal, and there is no signature and seal of the doctor and the hospital. Since the examination results are valid for 6 months, the applicant is requested to determine the time of physical examination accordingly;
